Sahara Bâ Program 23: Hope for a Paralysed Man |
|||
|
Do you know someone who is not able to help themselves because of
disease or some infirmity? Sometimes
a person is able to go to a traditional healer and find healing from their
sickness. Sometimes
a person must go to a hospital and get help from a doctor to find their
healing. Still
others have the chance to use a lot of money to travel to another country
to find expert nasara doctors to help them.
But it has to be very, very discouraging, when someone spends all
the family wealth to bring health to a suffering family member, only to
have them die in a faraway country because the best experts in the world
were not able to help them.
Some of you are sick today, with very serious illnesses.
Some of you have illnesses, and the best doctors in the world do
not have any way to help you.
If there were even a very small chance to be healthy again, even if
you had to act quickly, I am sure that you would do your very best to go
through the door of opportunity that may lead to your healing, without
hesitation. All of
us, especially those of us who are suffering, will grab on to hope
wherever we may find it.
Here is a story from Irôw’s Book the Injîl of how Issa helped a
person just like us to be healed, a paralyzed man who had no way to help
himself. For more information,
read Injil
Yuhanna (John) 5:1-15 in the Book of Îrôw |
