Sahara Bâ Program 25: Hope for an Unclean Woman |
|||
|
In Issa’ time and even in our day among our people, a woman with a
bloody discharge is like a living dead woman. She is unclean, and
being unclean, she cannot enter a place of worship. She cannot cook
food for a man to eat. Any place when she sits or lies is unclean
and must be purified. In many cases, anyone she touches is
polluted—especially a holy person. She could be stoned for
polluting such a person.
Here is a story from Irôw’s Book the Injîl about a woman just like you
who was suffering the rejection of her society. This woman found
reconciliation, through the healing touch of Issa Al-Masîh. |
